And this was on the ghetto-ass 5 train surrounded by ghetto, disgustingly rude, closed-minded people. And I just left a small impact on that kid’s life. #1: those freaks are actually humans too, and many of them are extremely cool and can DO stuff, and #2: NEVER STOP DREAMING!

This one was loosely inspired by Sid Vicious, but really its a bit of a commentary on commercialized punk. Yes, I did use the now overused Sex Pistols color scheme of yellow versus hotpink.
I drew and colored this in pen and Sharpie on the trainride home once, to take my mind off of the cacophony and ennui of the other humans on the terrible 5 train. Instead of keeping people away, it led me to meeting someone called “Streetcasso”. Interesting. I still prefer drawing to talking to strangers :)
